Kansas University has named a new committee to conduct a nationwide search and select a new director of admissions and scholarships by next spring.

University Registrar Richard Morrell will lead the committee of KU officials and student leaders.

A previous search ended in August with no one being named to the position. Associate Director Lisa Pinamonti is serving as interim director, replacing Alan Cerveny, who resigned in April.

The director provides leadership for the office’s programs and operations, including student recruitment activities and publications, undergraduate admissions and new student scholarships.
