Background

Prosoco has asked to receive a new 55 percent, 10-year tax abatement for a $2.5 million expansion project at East Hills Business Park. The request has received a positive recommendation from the city’s Public Incentives Review Committee.

Amending the city’s Mechanical Code concerning the elevation of ignition source.

Rezoning 1.266 acres from suburban home residential district to planned residential district, located north of Clinton Parkway and west of Lake Alvamar.

Rezoning 0.15 acres from single family to residential office district located at 1246 Haskell Ave.

Amending the parking requirements for group living facilities.

Allowing alcoholic beverages at the Carnegie Library Building for city Employee Relations Council holiday party on Dec. 7.

Adopt the following ordinances on second and final reading:

Rezoning 1.5783 acres to single-family residential district, located south of Peterson Road on the west side of Monterey Way, East1150 Road.

Annexing approximately 11 acres generally located south of West Sixth Street, west of Queens Road.

Adopt the following resolutions:

Directing a public hearing on the advisability of constructing sanitary sewer improvements near the intersection of 23rd and Louisiana streets.

Directing a public hearing on improving 11th Street from Haskell Avenue approximately 750 feet east.

Declaring 776 Ash St. environmentally blighted, ordering the property owner to remove the blight within 20 days or the city will contract to have the violations removed.

Approve the following site plans subject to conditions:

Accept dedication of easements and rights-of-way on the following plats:

Final plat of Riverridge No. 3. This proposed residential subdivision contains approximately 2.02 acres and proposes the creation of four lots. The property is located between Riverridge Road and Golden Rain Drive, and is also known as 1829 Riverridge Road. Submitted by Landplan Engineering, PA, for David Davison, property owner of record.

Final plat for College Motel Addition, a replat of the east three-fourths of the east half of Block 50, West Lawrence. This proposed three-lot commercial and residential addition contains approximately 2.462 acres. The property is located at 1703 W. Approve revised preliminary development plan of The Ridge at Alvamar, a proposed residential development, to be located north of Clinton Parkway and west of Lake Alvamar.
