To the editor:

I am glad that the Kansas government is not going to give those state employees a raise. They didn’t deserve the measly “less-than-3-percent” they got last year. They aren’t embarrassed that the employees are the last in line when they spend their I mean our money.

I am glad that the Kansas government is not going to give those awful school children any more money, too. They don’t need an education. The legislators aren’t embarrassed that they are building themselves I mean the state of Kansas a new parking garage. Reading, writing, hah! Let them eat cake.

Maybe they should give somebody else a bonus. Maybe buy a building and dump a bunch of money in it. How about a tax cut? Maybe take a trip? They could give themselves another well-deserved raise.

Yeah, to heck with them. They’re just the future of Kansas and the others just work for them ha, ha, ha.
