Manhattan ? Senior Andrea Hemphill won the 100 freestyle and the 200 individual medley to boost Lawrence High to second place in the Manhattan Invitational swim meet on Wednesday.

Other Lawrence High winners were junior Sarah Marlow in the 50 free and freshman Julia Szabo in the 100 butterfly.

Free State’s Ashley Jackson, like Szabo a ninth grader at Southwest Junior High, led the Firebirds to third with wins in the 200 and 500 freestyle races.
