Helping hand

To the editor:

On April 20, I had just begun my jog on the levee behind Johnny’s Tavern when I collapsed. Someone saw me go down and called 911. I was lying on the levee unconscious while this person took care of me. My faith in human kindness has been greatly replenished knowing that the compassion of a stranger helped me out. Being that I was unconscious, I was unable to thank or even meet the person who took care of me. So, if you are that person or know who helped me, I hope to have a chance to thank you in person.
