River resource
To the editor:
I want to thank your paper for taking an interest in the Kaw River cleanup and helping publicize the incredible resource that Lawrence enjoys. I saw an owl out of captivity for the first time in my life. We saw two bald eagles which captivated everyone in our group. We saw deer tracks, and a snake on the sandbars. This experience was very rewarding and to think it all began with an simple effort to help a group clean up the river. Lawrence has an incredible resource that generations can enjoy together.
