Floodplain fiasco

Item 1: Page 1A of Thursday 7/11 J-W Significant opposition to floodplain proposed regulation changes.
Item 2: page 10A (back of same section) Proposed retirement community development in FLOOD PLAIN!
While neither final decision has been made, to slightly alter a familiar quotation “Commissions, heal thyselves.” NO further building in floodplains and no additional burden to current homeowners who complied with regulations at the time of construction.
