Burglaries and thefts reported

A 1990 John Deere tractor parked along the side of Kansas Highway 10 on the east edge of Lawrence was reported missing Tuesday by a St. Louis man. The man, an employee of Diversified Services, St. Louis, told Douglas County Sheriff’s officers he left the tractor by the highway Jan. 18 and was going to pick it up several days later for a job in Bonner Springs. The tractor, along with its loader and grader, were valued at $48,000.
