OUR road?
To the editor:
Gary Stussie’s latest letter (2/11/02) on the South Lawrence Trafficway takes Mike Ford, Haskell, 500 Native American nations, environmentalists and the Democratic Party to task for questioning the advisability of paving wetlands for “OUR trafficway.” I wonder who belongs in that category, “our.” Personally, I throw in with the wise ones. One wonders where Mr. Stussie wants to get in such a hurry? I am sure he has good intentions, but we all know where the road goes that is paved with those.
