Homeless respect

To the editor:

My daughter and I were homeless at one time. I don’t feel that people should treat the homeless people like they are dirt. They don’t realize what it’s like to be homeless with nowhere to go, no money to eat on, no place to take a bath. We all like and love the homeless people. I work with homeless people. They are nice to work with.

The rich people don’t know what it’s like to be out on the streets. They should try it for a month or a year and see how they like it. It would be nice to build a shelter or a home for them to live in where they could stay and help out with cooking and housework. I’m going to try to collect donations for the homeless. I work at the drop-in center. In the next two months I’ll have another job opportunity for the homeless at the shelter. I have more respect for the homeless people. I love them.
