Injury Accidents

  • An Ottawa woman was treated and released Monday at Lawrence Memorial Hospital after she was taken there by ambulance following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of U.S. Highways 59 and 56. At 1:15 p.m. Sharlyn M. Fulks, 46, was driving a 1999 Dodge Durango southbound on Highway 59 when it was struck by a 2002 Dodge passenger vehicle turning south onto U.S. 59 from U.S. 56, the Kansas Highway Patrol said. The 2002 Dodge was driven by Susan D. Arzola, 43, Littleton, Colo.
