Burglaries and thefts reported
An 80-year-old Lawrence woman told police Thursday that some jewelry was missing from her house in the 700 block of North Seventh Street. Missing are an antique gold pendant with purple stone and an antique gold brooch with a diamond inlay. Losses were listed at $2,550.
Condition reports
– Wesley Burkett, 41, Ottawa, was in fair condition Friday at KU Med, Kansas City, Kan. He was injured Wednesday in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of U.S. Highways 56 and 59.
– Charley R. Davis, 18, Topeka, was released Thursday from KU Med. He was injured in a two-vehicle collision Wednesday on U.S. Highway 40 west of Lawrence.
– Jason Barker, 19, was in fair condition Friday at KU Med. He was injured Nov. 20 on Iowa Street near University Drive when his car struck the back of a touring bus.
