Lawrence Commuter Report

The following events and construction projects may affect commuter traffic this week in the region:

Anger Management Tour, with Eminem, Papa Roach, Ludacris and more, 7:30 p.m. today, Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, Bonner Springs.

Kansas City Royals vs. Minnesota Twins, 1:05 p.m. today, Kauffman Stadium, Kansas City, Mo.

Kansas City Royals vs. Oakland Athletics, 7:05 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Kauffman Stadium, Kansas City, Mo.

County Road 442 (Stull Road) from East 318 Road to County Road 1029, closed for safety improvements. Detour posted. Commuters are urged to use U.S. Highway 40, the Kansas Turnpike or U.S. Highway 24 to travel between Topeka and Lawrence during this project.

U.S. Highway 69 at 119th Street overpass bridges, lane restrictions for bridge repair and patching. Traffic strongly advised to find alternate routes, especially during the rush hours, as long delays are expected.

U.S. Interstate 70, westbound lanes to Fairfax Ramp Bridge, closed for repair and patching. Detour posted.

U.S. Interstate 70, westbound exit ramp to Washington Street, closed for bridge expansion and joint repair. Detour posted.

U.S. Interstate 70, outermost two lanes closed from Kansas-Missouri border west to Washington Street exit ramp.

Kansas Highway 32, eastbound lanes in Wyandotte County, closed for reconstruction. Traffic rerouted to westbound lanes.

Kansas Highway 32, traffic over Turner Diagonal Bridge in Wyandotte County routed to new bridge while second bridge is under construction.

Tam O’Shanter Drive, Frontage Road to Quail Creek Drive, lanes limited for curb replacement.

21st Street, closed, Ousdahl Road to east of Clifton, for milling and overlay.

Naismith Avenue southbound, closed south of 19th Street for milling and overlay.

20th Street, from Clifton to Ousdahl Road, closed for milling and overlay.

20th Terrace, closed for milling and overlay.

East 23rd Street from Haskell Avenue to Harper Street, intermittent lane closures for street repair.
