Burglaries and thefts reported

A 23-year-old Garland, Tex., man, reported to Lawrence Police he was robbed about 3 a.m. Monday in the area of 23rd and Iowa streets. The man said he had been waiting on a bus when two men walked up and grabbed a bag he was carrying and then fled. The victim said he had lost his bus ticket and $200. Both suspects were white men, about 6 feet tall and weighing about 180 pounds.
