Piano talents

I was one of the fortunate few who attended and heard the piano recital of Angela Kornilova performed April 7 at Swarthout Recital Hall in Murphy Hall. Ms. Kornilova’s visit and recital were sponsored by the Vianna da Motta International Music Foundation, which was founded by Sequeria Costa, Cordelia Murphy Brown Professor of Piano at Kansas University.
Another such high-caliber concert recital will be given by Vessela Gintcheva at 3 p.m. April 28 in Swarthout Recital Hall.
These recitals are free of charge and are a great opportunity to hear excellent international pianists.
