Pet project
To the editor:
When we were shopping at Petco on Saturday, our new collie somehow got out of the store without his leash on. He was frightened and took off running all around the parking lot as well as the Target lot and Pier 1, etc. I want to thank the Petco employees, the Humane Society volunteer who was at Petco with her son that day, as well as all of the people who stopped their cars and got out to help us catch him. We were very afraid he would run across Iowa Street and be hit by a car, but thanks to so many nice people who helped us, he is safe at home again. Thank you so much.
