Dogs of war
To the editor:
The recent scare of the B-1B bomber that flew over Lawrence is a great reminder. Many were terrified and ran for cover; some were filled with pride of the American might. I feel only sad that the powers-that-be seem to think a plane whose sole purpose is to kill and destroy would be used in celebration. What a huge waste of tax dollars, the dogs of war get $400 billion and still want more. To use a basketball game to drum up support is morally wrong.
