Lawrence Chamber of Commerce members will gather for their annual meeting tonight at the Lawrence Holidome and will install new officers and recognize several award winners.

Kelvin Heck, a Lawrence commercial real estate agent, will begin his one-year term as the chair of the chamber’s board of directors. He replaces Ann Gardner, editorial page editor of the Journal-World, who is finishing her one-year term.

The annual meeting will begin at 6 p.m. with a social hour. In addition, the chamber also will honor several award winners including: Allison Vance Moore for the Wally Galluzzi Chamber Volunteer Award; Rehelio A. Samuel for the Buford Watson Jr. Public Service Award; Bob Billings for the Citizen of the Years Award; and Jean Milstead for the Athena Award.
