At Uptown Theatre last Sunday, a few Lawrence musicians were crowned victorious at the The Pitch Music Awards. Your Friend was the only Lawrence act among several others slated to perform at the event, bringing its lush instrumentation, captivating melodies and Miller’s moving lyrics alive at an event where Miller would win the award for best singer/songwriter.

It seems Lawrence artists aren’t getting lost in a sea of phenomenal acts in the region. We walked away with four wins at this year’s Pitch Awards:
