At the Bottleneck on Saturday night, eight local gems put on a battle of bands show of sorts for the Farmers’ Ball semifinals, competing for a chance to move onto this Saturday’s finals. The top two will win a chunk of change, first place band walking away with $2,000 and second place with $1,000. Runner-up bands will be awarded with promo prizes.

While it was truly a fierce match between all eight acts (Alien Jones, Narkalark, Oils, Paper Buffalo, Pink Royal, Psychic Heat, Slight Right and Westerners), only four could advance and the crowd has spoken.
