January 3rd Early Morning Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

Things seem to be returning back to normal after a fairly active New Year’s weekend. For a look back at some of the activity from the weekend, here is a link to the Journal World’s report. A link to Sunday morning’s blog can be found at the bottom of the LJW story.

Lawrence Police responded on one noise complaint, one disturbance, one burglary and conducted two vehicle stops. Officers also responded with LDCFM on two medical emergencies.

None of this morning’s activity involved the use of any weapons or resulted in any serious injuries.

The activity blogged here is only a sampling of some of the things that Douglas County Law Enforcement and Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical respond on. To see a complete list of Lawrence Police activity, the department has that available on their website along with several easy to use maps that show approximate locations for Police activity.

Some of the activity blogged above was reported as it was unfolding by Operation 100 News. Learn how to receive breaking news updates here.
