November 25th Early Morning Law Enforcement & Fire/Medical wrap up

LDCFM and rural Fire crews were called to the 300 block of N 851 Diagonal, southwest of Clinton Lake, around 2 a.m. for an injury accident. Initial reports indicated that there were possibly two subjects injured, one of them critically. A LifeStar Helicopter was ordered to respond to the scene. When the helicopter arrived overhead, fire crews were just completing extrication of one person. LifeStar landed and after further evaluating the patient, Medics decided to transport the patient by ground ambulance to Stormont-Vail in Topeka. LifeStar was released from the call. Scanner traffic indicated that the driver was believed to have been intoxicated. Law Enforcement continues to investigate.
