Welcome to the nice weather

The weather this workweek is going to be nicer than we’ve seen in a few weeks. We are expecting mostly sunny skies and highs making it near 80 by Thursday. The only bad side to the weather may be the winds.

Note that I started this off by saying the workweek. Saturday really hasn’t been nice, in fact, we haven’t seen a nice Saturday this month. We saw a few breaks in the clouds on March 7th, however we also saw a trace of precipitation and overcast skies for a large portion of the day. The following Saturday, March 14th, we had overcast skies the entire day, followed by snow on March 20th. We just saw rain this past Saturday and now we have a chance for showers and storms for the first Saturday of April.

Everyone has their own opinion on what “nice” or “beautiful” weather is. What is yours? Do you prefer the cool temperatures and clouds, the snow and cold temperatures, sunshine and warm temperatures, etc.? (If you enjoy the snow, cold and clouds, you may disagree with my statement above, that we haven’t seen a nice Saturday this month!)

Share your definition of “nice” weather in the comments below. Also, would you prefer a completely gloomy workweek with a nice weekend or a nice workweek with a gloomy weekend?

My choice for weather: middle 70s, mostly to partly sunny, with a light breeze while I am off from work. When I’m working, I love the ever changing Kansas weather, the thunderstorms, temperature swings, snow, etc. But that’s also why I chose this career!
