Phil Journey apparently is trying to “help set the record straight” about his daughter, who is a contestant on the “Big Brother 8” TV show.It appears that Journey, a Republican from Haysville, sent a letter to the site Realitytvcalendar.com complaining a blogger had called his daughter Carol Journey, a KU student and former Kansas City Chiefs cheerleader, an airhead.In his letter, Journey notes that she has had a GPA of between 3.2 and 3.5 and was in the top 3 percent of her high school class.On another site, Journey says he thinks there’s a decent chance his daughter will walk out of the house when she finds a rival from high school also was selected for the show.
