Law enforcement report Burglaries and thefts reported ¢ A 33-year-old Lawrence man reported an auto burglary and theft to Lawrence police Monday. Items reported stolen include a Pioneer Mall stereo, Kenwood amplifier and a 12-inch Kicker subwoofer. The crime occurred Tuesday in the 2600 block of Scottsdale Street. The estimated loss is $1,445. ¢ A Quick Cash employee reported a $2,610 loss after three money orders were found to be counterfeits Tuesday at the business 1401 W. Sixth St. ¢ A 23-year-old Lawrence man reported a Gateway laptop computer and modem were stolen Monday from the 1100 block of New Jersey Street. The estimated loss is $1,050. ¢ A 30-year-old Lawrence man reported a burglary and theft Sunday. He reported the driver’s window and dash board of a black 2007 Volkswagon Rabbit were damaged in the 2400 block of Redbud. Stolen was a Pioneer multimedia navigational system and iPod.
