Honda Accord stolen Wednesday

Law enforcement report Burglaries and thefts reported ¢ A 33-year-old Lawrence woman reported a 2002 red Honda Accord valued at $9,500 was stolen Wednesday from the 500 block of Eldridge Street. ¢ A Wal-Mart employee reported about $1,000 was stolen from the business at 3300 Iowa St. between April 17 and Wednesday. ¢ Leavenworth County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a residential burglary and theft that occurred about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. According to a report, a Gladiator computer, monitor, keyboard and mouse were stolen from a residence in the 23000 block of 147th Street. The estimated loss is $3,800. The report states the suspect was driving a white compact car and the suspect kicked in a basement door to enter the residence. ¢ Leavenworth County Sheriff’s Office also is investigating a residential burglary that occurred at about 10 a.m. Tuesday in the 26000 block of 155th Street.
