Woman reports window peeper

Law enforcement report¢ A 21-year-old Lawrence woman reported that she saw an unidentified man peering through the window of her residence in the 4500 block of Wimbledon Drive at 1 a.m. Saturday. The victim told police that she went to the kitchen to get a drink of water when she saw the man at the window. She reported the incident at 6:18 p.m. Saturday.¢ Lawrence Police arrested a 15-year-old boy accused of using an Airsoft Pistol to shoot an 8-year-old boy twice, with plastic BBs, during an incident at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday in the 2200 block of Harper Street. ¢ A 33-year-old Lawrence man told police that sometime between Saturday, July 21, and Friday, an unidentified suspect shot a hole through his wooden fence, hitting a wheelbarrow next to the fence, in the 2700 block of Wildflower Drive. The victim did not notice the incident until he went to use his wheelbarrow on Friday. Police did not locate any witnesses, shell casings or bullets at the scene. Burglaries and thefts reported¢ An unidentified person broke out a window pane between 12:15 a.m. and 7 a.m. Saturday at the FastLanes Convenience Store, 1414 W. Sixth St., and removed a Samsung 4940 cash register valued at $300, $1,005 in cash, a men’s Playboy watch valued at $25, 10 cartons of Newport cigarettes valued at $385 and three cartons of Marlboro Lights valued at $108.69. The cash register was later recovered inside the store.
