We’re truly honored and humbled to be recognized as the “Best of Lawrence.” As a small, family-owned business, we’ve always prided ourselves on providing honest, reliable service to our community. To receive this kind of recognition is not only a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team but also a reflection of the trust and support we’ve received from our loyal customers over the years. It means the world to us to know that we’ve made a positive impact and are considered a trusted part of the Lawrence community. We strive to continually evolve and adapt to the needs of our customers. We’re excited to continue serving our neighbors and doing what we love!
What do you believe sets your business apart?
What sets businesses apart really boils down to a few key factors: trust, customer service, and quality of work. For small, family-owned businesses like ours, it’s about building relationships and showing that we genuinely care. People want to work with businesses they can rely on, not just for great service, but for honesty and integrity.
For us, we take the time to really listen to our customers, understand their needs, and make sure the job is done right the first time. Our team is like family, and we treat every job with that same level of care and attention to detail. Word of mouth plays a huge role, and when customers feel valued, they’re more likely to recommend you to others. At the end of the day, it’s not just about doing business; it’s about building lasting relationships and earning trust in the community.
Community support is crucial. How do you engage with the local community, and how has this engagement impacted your success?
We constantly strive to be a presence in our community, we build stronger connections with our community because we care about more than just running a business.
We do this through a couple of different avenues. Making an effort to stay visible in the community, whether that’s through social media, local advertising, or just being present at local events.
It’s also imperative that we collaborate with other small businesses in Lawrence. Networking, sharing resources, and supporting each other is how we all grow together. Often to complete a job successfully we need our friends in other fields to assist and having a strong connection to local companies assure that our customers get quality service all around.
The “Best of Lawrence” title often indicates a commitment to excellence in customer service. How do you ensure that every customer has a positive experience with your business?
At the end of the day our customers are our most important asset for success. Listening to the customer and starting each conversation with transparency and honesty is crucial. We want to be upfront about pricing, expectations, setbacks and challenges. No surprises.
Our expectation for ourselves is quality work and service. Treating each job no matter how small or how large with the time and effort to ensure the customer is not only satisfied by the outcome but is excited to schedule their next job.
We always want our customers to feel comfortable coming to us with any questions, concerns or comments. We are always ready to help and always appreciate feedback as a way to improve and grow as a business.
What does being an integral part of the Lawrence community mean to you, and how do you plan to continue contributing positively?
Being an integral part of the Lawrence community means a lot to us–it’s not just about running a business, but about being a reliable, trusted presence that neighbors can count on. We’ve always viewed ourselves as more than just a service provider; we see ourselves as part of the fabric of the community. When we help a customer, we’re not just fixing a problem–we’re contributing to the well-being of the people we live and work alongside.
What do you believe has been the biggest contributor to your business’s growth and reputation in the Lawrence area?
OUR LOYAL CUSTOMERS. The biggest contributor to our business’s growth and reputation in Lawrence has definitely been our commitment to building trust through relationships. From day one, we’ve focused on more than just completing jobs; we’ve made it a priority to connect with our customers, listen to their needs, and make sure they feel valued every step of the way. Word of mouth in a community like Lawrence is everything, and when people trust you, they not only come back–they tell their friends and family. We want to be a source of trust for our customers. When you trust someone, you feel safe calling them for help.
What long-term goals do you have for your business, and how do you plan to achieve them?
Our long-term goal is to become a trusted, community-driven leader in the electrical industry, known for delivering exceptional service and building lasting relationships with our customers. We want to expand our reach and capabilities, all while maintaining the personalized touch and quality that our customers value. By sticking to our values–quality, honesty, and a customer-first mindset–we’re confident we can continue to grow our business while maintaining the close-knit, family-oriented atmosphere that makes us unique.

Staying ahead of industry trends is essential to meeting the evolving needs of our customers. With the growing demand for energy-efficient and sustainable solutions, we focus on integrating smart home technologies, and energy-saving systems into our services.
