Have you heard about 365 Project? There are several different versions on the web. If you aren’t familiar with it, it’s a photography project where you take a photograph every day of the year. The point of the project is to take a picture that represents something special to you. It’s a great way to look back and remember the year, including special moments you may have forgotten about. It is kind of like a journal, but without the writing!

This weather blog is going to be a weather themed 365 project. I am going to take a weather-related photograph once a day, which should be pretty interesting since the weather is constantly changing. I would love for other people to join me by sending in a daily weather picture.

If you are interested in the project, you can email me your photographs at ameenen@ljworld.com. Please put 365 in the subject and include a caption with the location, date and a description. You can also post your photographs on our 6News Weather Facebook Page.

Don’t worry about the quality of your picture! Photographs from a mobile phone to a professional camera are welcome. If you are out of the area, your pictures don’t have to be from Kansas, just make sure I know where they are from. I understand that everyone is busy and emailing a weather photograph in each day may not be the most convenient. Just send your photographs in when you have time and include the date!
