Former Kansas guard Corbin Allen has committed to Appalachian State, he announced on Wednesday.

Allen spent one season with the Jayhawks. He was a local product from Kansas City, Missouri, and two-time winner of the DiRenna Award who was coached by Sherron Collins at Oak Park High School.

He had originally been slated to attend San Diego before backing out and committing to KU last May. He redshirted in his lone season in Lawrence and entered the transfer portal on April 17, not long before it was slated to close.

With Allen’s commitment, all of the former Jayhawks who entered the portal have found new homes: Flory Bidunga (Louisville), Samis Calderon (Butler), Jamari McDowell (Wake Forest), Bryson Tiller (Missouri) and Elmarko Jackson (Georgetown). Paul Mbiya was at one point set to enter the portal but ended up remaining with KU, making him one of the Jayhawks’ two returning players on scholarship, along with Kohl Rosario.

KU has added three transfers of its own: Leroy Blyden Jr. (Toledo), Keanu Dawes (Utah) and Christian Reeves (Charleston).
