Coach of the Year: Jayme Savage, Free State

Free State got back to the state tournament in 2025 after missing it a year ago as the fifth-seeded Firebirds pulled off an upset in the substate bracket. Free State had the fifth-best record in the 6A West at 18-12.
Player of the Year: Braydee Miller, Eudora

Freshman Braydee Miller has been Eudora’s best outside hitter this year and leads the team in numerous hitting stats.
Miller had another dominant year as a sophomore after being one of the best players in the state as a freshman. She recorded 525 kills, which led all 4A players and was second in Eudora school history.
Anniston Clark, Free State

Anniston Clark
Clark was a first-team all-Sunflower League middle blocker and an all-state honorable mention this past season. She was ninth in 6A in kills with 384 and third in blocks with 88.
Macie Corcoran, Perry-Lecompton

Macie Corcoran
Corcoran earned first-team all-league honors as an outside hitter for the Kaws while finishing first in aces, second in hitting percentage and fifth in kills in the Big East.
Bailey Hammerschmidt, Eudora

Bailey Hammerschmidt, middle
Hammerschmidt as a senior captain finished as a first-team All-Frontier League libero and led all 4A players in aces this season.
Avery Hemphill, Eudora

Avery Hemphill
Hemphill was a first-team All-Frontier League outside hitter, as well as an all-state honorable mention for a junior season that saw her have the 12th most kills in 4A.
Annika Lintecum, Free State

Annika Lintecum
Lintecum has consistently played a large role on the Firebirds’ team through her high school career, and her final year resulted in a state tournament appearance. She had 227 kills with 43 aces and 182 digs this season.
Tessa Nover-Estes, Free State

Tessa Nover-Estes
As a junior, Nover-Estes earned second-team All-Sunflower League honors while accumulating 850 assists, which was fourth in 6A, 265 digs and 56 blocks.
Xeva Oldridge, Bishop Seabury

Xeva Oldridge
Oldridge finished her Seabury career with over 1,000 kills, including 461 this season for the Seahawks. She was named first-team All-Kaw Valley Conference as an outside hitter.
Finley Rieke, Tonganoxie

Finley Rieke
Rieke has been a leader on the court for Tonganoxie, and another strong season to end her career brought her first-team all-Frontier League honors as an outside hitter.
Selah Simien, Lawrence

Selah Simien
Simien was one of the top liberos in the Sunflower League and was the Most Valuable Player of the Lawrence team. She earned second-team all-Sunflower League honors for her final campaign in high school.
