The Kansas men’s basketball team has posted more details regarding its three exhibition games in Puerto Rico next week.

According to a schedule uploaded onto the Kansas Athletics website Thursday, the Jayhawks will face a “Puerto Rico Select Team” at 11 a.m. Central Time on Aug. 3, then the national basketball team of the Bahamas at 4 p.m. Aug. 5 and again at 11 a.m. Aug. 7.

All three games will take place in the San Juan suburb of Bayamón, Puerto Rico, at the Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum, and be broadcast over the airwaves on the Jayhawk Radio Network with Brian Hanni and Greg Gurley on the call, complete with pre- and postgame shows.

The 12,000-seat Coliseum is the home arena of the Vaqueros de Bayamón of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional.

In speaking to reporters on July 17, head coach Bill Self had confirmed the pair of games against the Bahamian national team, which he suggested could potentially give some playing time to its several NBA veterans, but had otherwise alluded only to a professional team from Puerto Rico. It’s not known yet which players from the territory’s BSN league might be present on the Select Team.

KU has won 33 straight exhibition matchups.
