Behind two 30-point scorers, Veritas boys basketball rolls to 87-65 win

Behind a pair of 30-point scorers, the Veritas boys basketball team rolled to a 87-65 win over Wichita Home School at home on Saturday.

Senior guard Will Rau poured in 36 points, while fellow senior Will Bartkoski went for 31 points for Veritas. Rau shot 13-for-22 from the floor in 32 minutes of action, while also pacing the Eagles (12-7) in rebounds (13), assists (seven) and steals (four) on Saturday.

Bartkoski, meanwhile, did most of his damage from beyond the arc. He knocked down five of his eight attempts from long range in 32 minutes of game action. Bartkoski shot 12-for-16 for the game to go along with six rebounds.

Senior Brennan Clements was the only other Veritas play to end up in double figures by producing 12 points.

Veritas will host Cornerstone at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
