Kansas volleyball has 3 players earn All-Big 12 honors

Kansas volleyball players Caroline Crawford, Ayah Elnady and Jenny Mosser were all recognized when the Big 12 announced postseason accolades on Thursday.

Crawford was named to both the All-Big 12 first team and rookie team. Mosser made the All-Big 12 first team, and Elnady landed on the All-Big 12 rookie team. The Jayhawks went 12-10 overall, including 7-9 in Big 12 play, during the 2020-21 campaign.

In her first season at KU, Crawford recorded 180 kills on 409 attempts while leading the team with 108 total blocks. She averaged 1.26 blocks per set, while also averaging 2.09 kills per set. Crawford finished third on the team with 17 aces.

Mosser paced the Kansas offense with 3.37 kills per set, and was the only player with 200-plus kills this season after finishing with 229. She also registered 22 aces, while finishing second on the team with 169 digs.

Elnady ended up second on the team in kills (181) and kills per set (2.35) this past season. She led Kansas from the service line by recording 26 aces. Elnady also recorded 134 digs and 35 total blocks.
