KU volleyball falls to Texas Tech in five sets
The Kansas volleyball team fell to Texas Tech in five sets Wednesday night inside United Supermarkets Arena.
It was a back-and-forth affair from the second the match began. In the first set, both teams led by as many as 4 points. The Red Raiders tallied the final 2 points to earn a 25-22 set victory.
KU led by as many as 10 points en route to a 25-16 win in the second set. Senior Zoe Hill gave the Jayhawks a 2-1 lead by netting the final 2 points of the 27-25 win. Texas Tech recorded a win in each of the next two sets (25-13, 25-11) to pull out the win.
Sophomore Camryn Ennis led the way for Kansas with a team-high 13 kills. She was one of four Jayhawks to finish the night in double figures. Junior Sara Nielsen once again led KU in assists with 39.
Kansas (5-10) will play host to TCU at 1 p.m. Saturday.
