The Kansas volleyball team defeated West Virginia in five sets (25-20, 25-20, 25-15, 25-17, 15-13) Thursday night at Horejsi Family Volleyball Arena.

KU lost the second and fourth set, but ultimately found a way to finish things off with a narrow win in the final set. The Jayhawks earned their first Big 12 win of the season with the thrilling victory over the Mountaineers.
