Bishop Seabury boys begin postseason with 75-34 win

Bishop Seabury started the postseason off right with a 75-34 win over Olathe Heritage Christian Monday night at home.

The Seahawks (14-4, No. 10 in Class 2A) got points in the paint early, which opened things up along the perimeter. Sophomore point guard Zach Bloch led the offensive attack with 20 points, though he was just one of four players to notch double figures. Miles Branch and Joao Carlos Ramirez each scored 16 points, while Stavian Jones registered 10 points.

Bishop Seabury will play Central Heights at 6 p.m. Thursday at Pleasanton High School.

“We did get the job done, but we will need to be much better against Central Heights on Thursday,” BSA coach Jonathan Raney said. “They are a very tough and disciplined team that won’t make very many mistakes. Hopefully, we can get off to a little bit better start than we did tonight.”
