KU volleyball finishes off season sweep of Texas Tech

After falling in the third set to Texas Tech, Kansas volleyball (15-7, 8-3 Big 12) earned a victory (25-19, 25-15, 19-25, 25-21) in the fourth to complete a season sweep of the Red Raiders (16-9, 5-6 Big 12) at Horejsi Family Athletics Center Saturday night.

The victory over the Red Raiders extended the Jayhawks’ win streak against Texas Tech to 17 matches where Kansas has won 51 sets to TTU’s five in a span of nine seasons.

Jada Burse continued her dominance at the net for Kansas with a team-high 18 kills, earning her double figures in kills in 17 of the last 19 matches. Allie Nelson led the Jayhawks with 18 digs, while Gabby Simpson tallied 39 assists.

Kansas travels to Texas at 7 p.m. Saturday.
