The Charles Robinson Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution hosted a public reading of the Declaration of Independence Wednesday at Broken Arrow Park. The event was followed by a flag retirement ceremony and ice cream social. Also in attendance were members of the Betty Washington Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Sergeant Samuel J. Churchill Chapter of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, and Scout Troop 55.
