Soccer fans came to downtown Lawrence to celebrate for the second night in a row on Thursday. After watching the U.S. beat Bosnia and Herzegovina 2-0 on Wednesday, a block party was held before the late-night Algeria-Switzerland match. Algeria, which had its base camp in Lawrence, fell 2-0 to Switzerland to exit the tournament in the round of 32.
