Protesters fill Watson Park for the No Kings protest on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025.

Protesters at Lawrence’s Watson Park joined a nationwide “No Kings!” rally effort Saturday. The “No Kings!” demonstrations are peaceful protests of what organizers describe as authoritarian policies and corruption in the Trump administration.
