"Buddy the Bulldog" towers over other parade entries in downtown Lawrence during Art Tougeau’s 25th anniversary parade on Saturday, May 25, 2024.

A costumed bike brigade, a giant bulldog and a car covered in models of Lawrence landmarks were among the zany vehicles rolling through downtown Lawrence on Saturday as part of the 2024 Art Tougeau parade.

The annual art car parade draws entries from not just Lawrence but across the region, and it coincides with the Lawrence Busker Festival, which began on Friday and will continue through Sunday.
