The following are examples of “DeVIA,” or Deaf Visual/Image Art created by, or supervised by Kansas School for the Deaf graduate Chuck Baird, class of ’67.
The art form is a combination of traditional media — paintings, drawings, sculptures — with elements of American Sign Language mixed in.
