Letter to the editor: They are just cheating now

To the editor:

So our GOP legislators in Topeka have begun the process of redistricting the state to get their lord and master more votes in Congress. What does that really say to the voters in Kansas?

It says: Our policies don’t work. What we have put in motion is destroying our farm base. We have not kept any of the promises we made in 2024. We cannot convince the electorate that we are on the right course and have real solutions to today’s problems. So, in order to keep our jobs, we’ll cheat. We’ll rig the districts so that no one else can win and possibly provide an alternative to our failed agenda. That way we keep our jobs and please the great and powerful.

As a conservative voter, I find the whole idea disgusting and as Anti-American and as Anti-democracy as it can get.
