To the editor:

During this time of partisan rancor and governmental disfunction at the highest levels, it is reassuring to see that our local county continues to deliver outstanding service in supporting our infrastructure. I’m referring specifically to the recently completed bridge replacement project on North 900 Road in Wakarusa Township. Public Works Director Chad Voight displayed professionalism and transparency at every step of the process. The general contractor for the project, Dondlinger Construction, was focused and at work daily from literally dawn to dusk. The structure that was replaced was a 90-year-old Works Progress Administration project. If the new bridge lasts anywhere as long, our investment will be a real bargain. A Great Job!
