To the editor:

After the former president of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, made a silly threat on social media, Trump responded by saying he was ordering two nuclear submarines into positions closer to Russia.

In fact, the nuclear subs sail on secret routes known only to the crew and Trump has no idea where they are. As a former instructor at the Naval Intelligence School in Washington, I can assure Trump, the subs have been well positioned for the last two decades. No responsible military leader would ever tell the enemy that they were going to position assets into a better position since that would immediately tell the enemy where to start looking.

This proves yet, again, that Trump lacks the intellectual ability to be commander in chief.
