Letter to the editor: Marshall must go

To the editor:

I sent the following to Sen. Roger Marshall:

I am one of your new constituents. I am extremely upset about your yes vote that occurred after the riot took place, which killed five people. I cannot believe you still voted yes to object to the Electoral College certification. The riot was an act of terrorism that was fueled by your president, your media outlets and your personal rhetoric. You cannot lie and lie and lie to people, then tell them to organize to overthrow the government and not expect them to do it. To your shame, the people who believe you are the ones who will pay the price and be held legally accountable. You should resign immediately. You are a disgrace to your country and have violated your oath of office. You, sir, are the cancer you talked about during your speech on the Senate floor. You are the disease in this country. Do the right thing: Resign immediately.

Kelly Horton,

Lawrence
