Pedestrian dies after running onto Kansas interstate

HARVEY COUNTY — A pedestrian died after he ran onto an interstate in south-central Kansas Saturday night.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said 20-year-old Kalub Rowson of Minneapolis, Kan., died after he was struck by an SUV on Interstate 135 about 12 miles north of Wichita. The crash happened around 10:15 p.m. Saturday.

The three occupants of the SUV were not hurt.
