Families in the Lawrence school district will be able to gear up for the school year at the Kids Expo with resources, shoes, haircuts, school supplies and more.
The Lawrence Schools Foundation will host the second annual Kids Expo on Saturday, Aug. 9, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the school district offices, 110 McDonald Drive. This free event will provide shoes, backpacks, and other school supplies while supplies last. Free haircuts for children will also be available by appointment — families can book through their school.
The event will also offer a variety of activities, plus opportunities to learn more about Lawrence Public Schools, local educational programs, businesses and extracurricular opportunities.
