Lawrence’s interim superintendent is asking residents to provide their thoughts on the school district by completing a survey and by meeting with her at various community gatherings.

“No one knows better the strengths and celebrations, the challenges, and areas for improvement for the future of Lawrence Public Schools than the students, school families, and staff who make up our school community and the Lawrence partners who support our work,” interim Superintendent Jeanice Kerr Swift said n a news release Thursday. “We will use what we learn to inform and align our work with the voices, needs, and direction of our community.”

Swift will host community conversations at each of the Lawrence middle schools and the Lawrence Public Library. In addition, she welcomes community groups to sign up to host a conversation.
